
Zoe Royer MP VISIT TO Dogwood


Duties of this position include attending and taking/producing Minutes for monthly Executive and Board Meetings. Meetings are approximately 1.5 hours and 2 hours. You will be required to produce Agendas for these two meetings with direction/assistance from the President. We use a template for agendas which the Secretary then uses to complete the meeting minutes as the meeting progresses.
Other duties as directed by the President include, sending messages, various correspondence and approved copies of Minutes, to Board members.
You will also be required to attend the Annual General Meeting and take/produce Minutes and produce minimal other reports such as updated Board Member List.
You will be required to keep a digital record of all agendas, minutes and correspondence with digital copies of corresponding Director’s and other reports in the Society’s SharePoint storage.
This position requires someone with previous experience in this area. Familiarity with Office 365 programs will be a major asset. A laptop will be supplied and other than attending meetings, much of the work can be done from your home. The position requires an independent but team player.
You will be required to be a member of the Dogwood Seniors Society and thus will be a voting member on the Executive and Advisory Boards. You will also be required to complete a police check and register as a volunteer for the City of Coquitlam as well as completing your volunteer hours log on Better Impact.
