Painting – Turn up and paintThis group meets weekly to paint together. Bring your own supplies and projects. All levels welcome.

PhotographyThe Dogwood Photography Group consists of amateur and experienced photographers who want to learn how to take great pictures. All camera levels are welcome from point and shoots, DSLR’s and film cameras.

1st and 3rd Wednesdays 6:30pm to 8:15pm
PickleballPickleball is played in the Forum, which is located on the Southwest corner of Poirier and Winslow next to the Dogwood Office building.

Registration for Pickleball Drop-in Play at the Forum is required and there is a $2.00 fee per session. See the Dogwood Seniors 50 Plus Pickleball Group website for more information.

It is recommended, if you’ve not played Pickleball, to take a few lessons prior to joining any Drop-in play session. All Tri-City communities, including Coquitlam offer lessons. In addition, you can find online a great deal of information including: rules of the game, scoring, play strategies and safety protocols.

You’re welcome to come out and observe any of the Dogwood Member Forum sessions to see if this sport is for you and which session you might enjoy the most.
Quilting GroupWe are a group of individuals that share an interest in quilting. We welcome any and all skill levels to join us. We do not teach quilting, but do have an abundance of knowledge amongst us to share.

We meet in the Craft Room at the Dogwood Pavilion on the first and third Friday of each month for a full day of sewing, where we work on our personal projects or group donation projects. We have an evening meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, complete with Show & Tell.

There is a $15.00 yearly activity fee (September – August).

ScrabbleScrabble is a word game where two to four players score points by placing letter tiles onto the board and forming words.

Tuesdays 12:30pm to 4:00pm
Slo-PitchSlo-Pitch is a coed variant of softball where the pitcher delivers the ball underhand in a high arc to make it easy to hit.

SnookerDogwood Pavilion features a snooker room with four 5′ x 10′ tables, available seven days a week during regular hours of operation. Dogwood Seniors’ Society members can access the snooker room for an annual snooker activity fee of $40.00.
Social DanceCome dancing and get fit while having fun! The Social Dance group meets weekly to enjoy various types of ballroom dancing music.

South Asian CulturalThis is a social and support group for the South Asian community. The evening couples group meets once a month.

South Asian LadiesSouth Asian Ladies Group get together for various events, yoga, music.

Table TennisTable tennis is a sport in which two to four players hit a lightweight ball back and forth across a table using small solid racquets.

There are five tables and we meet four times per week:
Mondays 4:00pm to 6:30pm
Wednesdays 4:15pm to 8:15pm
Thursdays 1:45pm to 3:45pm
Sundays 9:00am to 12:00pm

Must pre-register.
Ukulele – Tri-City StrummersWe meet weekly. All levels are welcome, but we do not give instruction.

We send out the weekly song list chord charts digitally in advance. Bring your ukulele, music stand, and chord charts downloaded to your device. We have a weekly group activity fee of $1.00 payable at the class.

Wire WrappingMembers share ideas and techniques in wrapping stones for jewelry making.

Fridays 12:30pm to 3:00pm
W.H.O. (Women Helping Others)If you are a woman seeking female friendship and companionship, come meet our group. A safe comfortable place where camaraderie and understanding awaits you.

Wood CarvingMembers work on individual projects and must bring their own tools and materials.

Woodwork ShopMembers work in a fully equipped workshop at Dogwood Pavilion on individual projects and bring their own materials. The volunteer leader provides assistance with safety, tips and techniques.
