Dogwood hosts groups and clubs covering a wide range of activities, we invite you to call these group leaders for more details and information posted below.

CARPET BOWLING
Carpet bowling with a Dogwood Membership fee $10 for 50+ participants and minimal activity fee you are welcome to attend; Our activity leader(s) will show you how to bowl.  One must wear good safe footwear and must be able to bend over. The game is similar to curling in that the bowls are weighted and curve in, the same as curling. 
The teams are made up by randomly picking your position and your team.  We play for fun and exercise, not for the score. 
Tuesdays 1:30 pm –3:30 pm
Thursdays 1:30 pm –3:30 pm

PICKLEBALL
If you are 50+ and interested in participating in a variety of Activities, including the extremely fun, social and popular sport of Pickleball, securing a Dogwood Membership could be for you.
Pickleball is played in the Forum, which is located on the Southwest corner of Poirier and Winslow next to the Dogwood Office building.
Registration for Pickleball Drop-in Play at the Forum is required and there is a $2.00 fee per session.  Please contact Dogwood or Coquitlam Registration to learn how to sign up and reserve a spot on Coquitlam’s Perfectmind registration system.  It is recommended, if you’ve not played Pickleball, to take a few lessons prior to joining any Drop-in play session.
All Tri-City communities, including Coquitlam offer lessons. In addition, you can find online, a great deal of information, including: rules of the game, scoring, play strategies and safety protocols.
You’re welcome to come out and observe any of the Dogwood Member Forum sessions to see if this sport is for you and which session you might enjoy the most.

The Pickleball Activity Group held a special and spooky Halloween Play Day
Over 62 players participated in this very fun event where many “tricks” were observed on the Courts! Treats were consumed….off court and laughter was abound as Players strategically moved about in their special Halloween attire. “A great day was had by all !” 

SNOOKER Mondays to Saturdays
Dogwood Pavilion has a snooker room available for use during regular hours of operation. Annual pass holders can use the snooker room during regular hours, for a $40.00 yearly fee (plus tax).

TABLE TENNIS
There are 5 tables and we meet 3 times per week.
