Dogwood Pavilion Seniors Society AGM Notice March 28, 2024

To our valued Dogwood Pavilion Seniors’ Society Members,
The Dogwood Advisory Board is inviting you to the 2024 Annual General Meeting. The meeting will be at 2 pm and we hope that if you are attending the Easter lunch you will come over after and join us.  We will be conducting elections this year for President, 1st and 2nd Vice Presidents and 2 (or 3) Directors at Large (We are growing our membership and with that comes more things to do!) . In order to add an extra Director at Large we need to pass an Extraordinary Resolution prior to the Election so we ask for your support for the Board recommendation. All Board  positions are for 2 year terms.
We will also be saying goodbye to our Executive Secretary Pat Larsson after completing her 8 years on the Board. She has been a key member of the team and we wish her well in her next journey to join her family in the Okanagan.
We will announce our new temporary Executive Secretary who you will be meeting when she begins in April. Our quorum required for the AGM is 35 members. We will have City staff checking memberships upon entry to the Mike Butler Room.  Presenting your current membership card will speed things up a great deal and is very much appreciated.
We will have refreshments after the AGM and the meeting will be concluded once the elections are completed and the new Board is announced.
This post contains the following attachments regarding our upcoming Annual General Meeting which will be in the Mike Butler Room at 2 pm on March 28/24

A Notice of AGM which includes the details of the meeting and of the Extraordinary Resolution which the Board is proposing for Adoption.
· An Agenda of the AGM
· Minutes of the 2023 AGM
· The 2022 Constitution and Bylaws of the Dogwood Pavilion Seniors’ Society
We have  copies of the Agenda, Notice, Constitution and Bylaws, Minutes at the Ambassador’s Desk across from Dogwood Reception.
The Agenda and Notice are posted on the Dogwood Society bulletin board.
Thank you for your membership, your support this past year and we look forward to seeing you on the 28th.
