AGM Notice
To our valued Dogwood Pavilion Seniors’ Society Members,
Our 2025 Annual General Meeting will be held on March 26, 2025 starting at 2 pm until 4 pm. The meeting will be in the Centennial Room of the Dogwood Pavilion Seniors’ Society premises at 1655 Winslow Ave, Coquitlam, BC.
Our quorum for the AGM is 35 current members. Please note City staff will be checking memberships upon entry to the Centennial Room. Therefore, we would appreciate if you could please bring your current membership card to the meeting, as this will speed things up a great deal. Your membership card must have the 2025 sticker.
Our Bylaws have been amended and a copy of the draft amended Bylaws is enclosed with this notice. The attachment includes our Constitution, which has not been amended. A copy of the current Bylaws can be found on our website. Approval and acceptance of the amended Bylaws requires a 2/3 majority of the registered eligible members attending the meeting.
In addition to the approval of the amended Bylaws, we will also be conducting an election this year for one Director-at-Large position for a 2 year term.
We will have refreshments after the AGM and the meeting will be concluded once the order of business is concluded.

We have copies of the Agenda, Notice, Constitution and Bylaws, and Minutes at the Ambassador’s Desk across from Dogwood Reception. The financial reports are available to members only at the Ambassador’s desk and at the AGM.
The Agenda and Notice are posted on the Dogwood Society bulletin board.
