About Us

Dogwood Pavilion is a social recreation center for adults 50 years or better to get together, make new friends and enjoy a variety of leisure activities. It is a warm and friendly place with plenty of free parking. The pavilion is operated by the City of Coquitlam Parks, Recreation and Culture Department.
We also have a fully equipped woodworking shop, snooker room, lapidary workshop, computer lab, lounge and library.
Should you feel hungry while at Dogwood Pavilion, then head over to the Boulevard Cafe which is open for lunch Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m. If you would like something on the lighter side to eat, try the Tea Garden for a snack from 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m.

  1. This site seems to be extremely out of date, yet the City of Coquitlam is sending it out in their Pavilion update to encourage people to sign up for September activities. Lots of broken links too.

    • Hello Patt

Thank you for your comments and yes I agree the website needs a lot of work. The city did catch us off guard with their early announcement linking to our website. We are working on making improvements over the next few months. Please be patient is there is a lot changing and we are all volunteers but it will be getting better in the near future.

  2. How do I register for bridge?

    • Hello Gail
I am very sorry for the lengthy delay in responding to your question. We have 9 different Bridge groups. If you are still interested I suggest you speak with Jack Obst, who has been the Activity Group Director for the Bridge group and he can direct you to the group which best suits you. His phone number is 604-939-6509 and his email is obst@shaw.ca.
